Perfect excuse to nap with my daddy!

Trying to get the wedding band off???

This weekend was about reminiscing the days of old along with getting Auntie Laura to have the last "FUN" days before she goes out and gets herself all married. Although this blog is designed to keep everyone updated on Brinnon, Brinnon felt obligated to show what kind of party Daddy could throw. Hope you had fun Laura!

Photo Shoots with Mom

Today I gave Brinnon her first big girl bath. She just loved the water! Since tomorrow is her four week birthday I decided that after her nap to get some photos while she was awake and super happy. I even managed to get some cutie pie smiles. Some photos are pretty blurry, but worth posting because you can get the feel for her mood. What a darling!

LOLLYGAGGING

My dad brought home this mini LOLL chair for me to lounge in, just like my parents do in theirs. I don't think he realizes that I'm not yet able to hold up my own head.

Our Lil' Chunker

Wednesday we went back to the pediatrician for Brinnon's two week appointment. I had been a bit concerned about possible weight loss because her nursing wasn't quite as aggressive as it had been in the beginning. Her birth weight was 8 lbs 12 oz, but she left the hospital four days later at 8 lbs 10 oz. During her first appointment, she had gained enough weight to be at 9 lb 2 oz. A week later on Wednesday she was at 9 lbs 12 oz. No reason for me to be concerned, which was great news! I love that she is growing so big, I love chunky healthy babies!!! Motherhood is becoming a bit more 'normal'. Does it ever feel normal????? Even with all of my nannying experience, this is nothing compared to it. No one could have prepared me for what I was about to experience, regardless of who or what was said. I'm just glad to finally be feeling better and able to take care of our little girl. Thank you to everyone who has helped me out, especially to the wonderful women who have traveled far to be with me and Brinnon during the week!
